EAC TR CU 004, TR CU 010, TR CU 020 for Feeders
Feeders that are exported to the countries Eurasian Customs Union, as industrial equipment, are subject to mandatory EAC TR CU certification of conformity. Conformity documents should be obtained prior to exporting or selling the equipment in these countries.
Typically, feeders are subject to the following EAC technical regulations:
- TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low voltage devices”
- TR CU 010/2011 “On safety of machines and equipment”
- TR CU 020/2011 “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means”
Feeder requires a single declaration of conformity to TR CU 004/2011, TR CU 010/2011 and TR CU 020/2011, where all 3 technical regulations are included.
To issue a declaration that includes TR CU 010/2011 a safety justification should be obtained. Safety justification is a document that contains analysis of possible risks as well as technical information on measures to ensure safety of the equipment. Safety justification is a mandatory document required for all declarations and certificates that include Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 010/2011 “On safety of machinery and equipment”.
It takes 5-10 working days to issue a declaration of conformity and a safety justification for a feeder.
If a feeder is designed for hazardous environments and has explosion protection, then it will need a declaration of conformity to TR CU 010/2011 and TR CU 020/2011 (TR CU 004/2011 will not be included in this case) and a certificate of conformity to TR CU 012/2011 “On safety of equipment operating in hazardous environments”. To obtain a certificate of conformity to TR CU 012/2011, a factory audit is required. It takes 20-30 working days to issue a certificate after audit is conducted.
WWG can take care of a whole certification process of your feeders.
