EAC TR CU 004, 010, 020 for Digital Welding Machines
Digital welding machines exported to EAEU countries, are subject to EAC technical regulations. An EAC Declaration is required for export and sales of this equipment to EAEU countries.
Digital welding machines are subject to:
- TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low voltage devices”
- TR CU 010/2011 “On safety of machines and equipment”
- TR CU 020/2011 “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means”
Digital welding machines require one EAC declaration to confirm the compliance. Declaration TR CU 004/2011 + 010/2011 + 020/2011, where all 3 technical regulation are included is enough to fulfill requirements of EAC technical regulations.
One of the requirements of TR CU 010/2011 states that equipment subject to this technical regulation should have Safety Justification. Safety Justification is a document that contains an analysis of possible risks as well as technical information on measures of ensuring safety of an equipment.
Safety Justification is a mandatory document required for Declaration of conformity with Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 010/2011 “On safety of machinery and equipment” as well as for other EAC declarations/certificates that include TR CU 010/2011.
It usually takes 5-15 working days to obtain an EAC declaration and a Safety Justification.
Documents needed to apply for a TR CU Declaration:
- Company registration documents of the local representative
- Applicant contract between manufacturer and local representative
- Product technical manual in Russian language
