Poverka Certificate for Russia
Primary verification is a set of calibration procedures carried out for measuring instruments imported to, distributed and used in Russia. Poverka certificate confirms that a measuring instruments complies with the verification procedure approved in Russia.

How do I know that I need Poverka certificate for my product?
As a rule, Primary verification certificates for measuring instruments are requested by importers, owners or end users in Russia.
PVC is mandatory for measuring instruments that are intended for use in state-related spheres. Please contact us at info@wwg.eu.com to get a full list of spheres of state regulation where Poverka is obligatory.
What information should I provide to get a quote?
- Full name of devices
- Number of devices to be verified
- Metrology Pattern Approval (if available) or its serial number
- Metrological characteristics (i.e. measuring range)
What documents do I need to get Poverka for Russia?
- Metrology Pattern Approval (PAC) or its serial number
- Year of production of the measuring instrument
- Information on the owner-company (Russian importer / end user of the product)
- Serial number of each device
During the verification procedure, the error limit is defined and then compared to the permissible values indicated in the operating documents and type description of the Metrology Pattern Approval.
Apart from Primary verification, there is a procedure of repeated verification. The interval of repeated verifications is indicated in the type description of Metrology Pattern Approval (PAC) of the measuring instrument.

1. Lead time?
PVC for Russia is issued within 2-10 working days.
2. Validity period?
Primary verification certificate does not have a limited validity.
3. Valid in Russia only?
Poverka certificates are valid in Russia only.
Primary verification certificate can be obtained only if there is a valid Metrology Pattern Approval (MPA / PAC) for the measuring instrument.
A device can be verified if it was produced during the validity of MPA. Therefore, if your MPA has already expired, but the devices were produced before its expiration date, it will be possible to issue a PV Certificate for such products.
A Poverka certificate for Russia confirms the compliance to verification procedure of one particular device only.
