Eurasian Economic Commission updated the list of products that are subject to TR CU 007
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved decision No. 235 of December 24, 2019, regarding the revision of the list of goods which customs declaration should be accompanied by a conformity assessment document (or information about such a document) TR CU 007/2011 "On safety of products for kids and adolescents."
The amendments relate to the list adopted by the decision of the commission Board No. 28 of March 5, 2013.
The first changes are related to the fact that now it will be allowed to present not only documents of conformity, but also data these documents from the official registry for customs clearance.
The categories of dishes and cutlery intended for children under 3 years old have been specified, in particular knives, as well as disposable plastic dishes, have been added. These products are subject to state registration with subsequent declaration.
New subposition of dishes for children over 3 years old and adolescents, which includes a similar set of products was also added. The conformity process of these products is carried out in the form of certificate.
It will become mandatory to obtain a state registration certificate for toothbrushes, massagers for gums and similar products for children and adolescents. In the current edition of the list, this was required only for products for children under 3 years old.
For children’s and teenagers’ clothes, a clarification on the number of lining was added: in positions 8-10, the percentage of the lining relative to the top area of the product will be indicated.
The category of bedding and accessories subject to declaration has been specified. A clear list of such products will now be provided. For example, quilts, pillows, mattress covers, canopies, cushions, etc.
The list of finished goods will also be supplemented by scarves and bathing sheets.
The new list will become active starting from January 26, 2020.
