Eurasian Commission Began a Discussion on Unified Sanitary Standards for Machinery and Electric Equipment
Public discussion of the draft amendments to the decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 299 of May 28, 2010, regarding the establishment of the deadline for the validity of unified sanitary requirements for equipment, began on January 29, 2020.
The discussion concerns the goods controlled by the following technical regulations:
- TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low-voltage equipment”.
- TR CU 010/2011 "On safety of machinery and equipment".
- TR CU 020/2011 "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means".
Additions are planned in paragraph 2-1 of decision No. 299 and involve the establishment of a limit date for the validity of unified sanitary requirements for equipment that is subject to these regulations.
For equipment for which permits were issued before July 1, 2020, the norms of paragraphs 2, 3, 5, 12, 13 of subsection 3 and paragraphs 1-10, 18 of subsection 5 of section 7 “Requirements for machinery, instrumentation and electrical engineering."
The public discussion is planned to end on February 20, 2020. The document will take effect 30 days after the official publication of the decision.
