EAC TR CU 004, TR CU 020 for Power Inverters and Rectifiers
Power inverters and rectifiers supplied to EAEU countries (for example Russia), are subject to mandatory conformity with EAC Technical Regulations. EAC Declaration should be obtained before inverters and rectifiers can be exported or sold to EAEU countries.
Inverters and rectifiers are subject to:
- TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low voltage devices”
- TR CU 020/2011 “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means”
Inverters and rectifiers require a declaration of conformity with TR CU 004/2011 + 020/2011, where both technical regulations are included.
TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low voltage devices” applies to devices with nominal voltage 50 – 1000 V AC and 75 – 1500 V DC. Therefore, if an inverter or a rectifier has a nominal voltage that is out of this range, then it requires a declaration TR CU 020, where only one technical regulation is present.
Sometimes, inverters and rectifiers from the same manufacturer can be included in one EAC declaration due to their similarity in use.
It takes 10 working days to receive a declaration of conformity TR CU. After a declaration is issued, it may take from 5 to 15 working days to receive hard copies of test reports.
WWG can help you obtain necessary EAC declarations for power inverters and rectifiers as well as other electric devices.
