18 technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Commission entered into force in Kyrgyzstan
18 technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which regulate the safe circulation of meat, milk, juices, toys, furniture and a number of other goods in the country's market, have entered into force the Kyrgyz Republic.
Eight of eighteen technical regulations apply for safety of food and related processes: from production to recycling. Moreover, technical regulations on safety of products for children and adolescents, furniture products and a number of other goods are now applied here too.
"It means that the Republic is even more closely integrated with other EEU countries, where these technical regulations with transparent requirements for product and consumer safety are already in force," said Arman Shakkaliev, Director of the Department of Technical Regulation and Accreditation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). - It is important that uniform regulations take into account the accumulated national experience and the best international requirements. Excessive technical barriers to trade between partner countries are eliminated, and people get safer and more quality goods. "
