TR CU 032/2013 “Equipment operating under excessive pressure”: requirements in 2019
In order to export equipment working under pressure to the territory of the Customs Union, Certificate or Declaration of conformity with Technical Regulation of the Customs Union (EEU) “On safety of the equipment operating under excessive pressure” (TR CU 032/2013) is required. It is almost similar to PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) in Europe.
To obtain TR CU 032/2013 certificate both for batch and for serial production site audit with testing is required.
To obtain TR CU 032/2013 certificate for serial production with up to 5 years validity, annual inspection control is needed. Recently requirements for this technical regulation have been tightened:
- Annual inspection control fee cannot be paid at once. This fee has to be paid each year separately. The certificate can be issued for 5 years, but in fact each year annual inspection control is needed to prolong certificate. If this annual inspection control is not performed, the certificate is suspended;
- The cost and requirements for inspection control are stated by the Certification authority 1-2 months prior to the month of issue. Only approximate cost can be given at the moment the certificate is issued;
- As for now, for each annual inspection control site audit with on-site testing is obligatory.
WWG has a wide experience in obtaining TR CU 032/2013 PED certificates as well as in conducting of on-site audits.
