EAEU and CIS have approved a cooperation program in the field of standardization
Program for the mutual development of standardization was signed between the Council of Heads of State Standardization Bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries and the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The main focus of the program was on the coordination of decisions on planning, development, adoption and application of intergovernmental standards, including the ones used to implement union’s technical regulations.
Specifically designed platforms: the CIS Interstate Council and EAEU Standardization Council were appointed as responsible actors on both sides. National standards institutions will provide assistance for both associations and various intergovernmental technical committees.
