EAC TR CU Certification of Electric Juicers for Russia
Electric juicers that are exported to the countries of Eurasian Customs Union, are subject to mandatory EAC TR CU certification of conformity. EAC TR CU conformity documents are requested at customs, therefore need be obtained prior to exporting or selling the equipment to those countries.
Electric juicers are subject to two EAC technical regulations:
- TR CU 004/2011 “On safety of low voltage devices”
- TR CU 020/2011 “Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means”
A single certificate of conformity to TR CU 004/2011 and TR CU 020/2011 is sufficient for export and selling.
EAC certificate can be issued for a serial release (1 – 5 years) or for a single shipment.
Applicant for EAC certificate must be a company that is registered on the territory of Eurasian Customs Union. For this purpose, WWG provides an applicant service for foreign manufacturers who don’t have their offices in Eurasian Customs Union countries.
Production site audit is required to obtain an EAC certificate for serial release. To conduct a site audit, a certification expert from an accredited certification body travels to a production facility for 1 day to conduct an overview of the factory and to select product samples that will be sent to a laboratory for testing later on.
To apply for an EAC certificate, the following items need to be provided:
- Signed applicant contract between applicant and manufacturer (for serial release)
- Supply contract and invoice (for single shipment)
- Technical specifications
- Samples for testing
It takes 15-20 working days to receive the certificate after testing and production site audit are conducted.
WWG can take care of a whole certification process of your electric juicers.
