EAC TR CU 048/2019 “On requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices” to become effective September 1 2022
Eurasian Economic Commission has approved the decision to postpone the effective date for Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 048/2019 “On requirements for energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices”.
The decision to postpone the effective date was taken December 29 2020 and is about to receive the final approval from the council.
According to the approved decision, the effective date for TR CU 048/2019 “On requirements for energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices” will be postponed from September 1 2021 to September 1 2022.
This decision doesn’t apply to two sections of appendix №16 of the technical regulation, which are: the contents of the label and the technical sheet and the definition of energy efficiency classes, cleaning efficiency and secondary dust filtration. These sections will become effective after the corresponding GOSTs are added to the lists of standards for test methods.
Due to the approved decision, other appendixes of the regulation are to become effective September 1 2022 along with the technical regulation itself.
Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 048/2019 “On requirements for energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices” was adopted August 8 2019 and has been waiting to entry the force since that date.
