EAC TR CU 010 and TR CU 032 Certification for Fittings
Fittings that are exported to EAEU countries, are subject to mandatory EAC TR CU compliance. EAC certificate and (or) declaration should be obtained prior to exporting or selling the equipment to EAEU countries.
Fittings may be subject to:
- TR CU 032/2013 “Equipment operating under excessive pressure”
- TR CU 010/2011 “On safety of machines and equipment”
Depending on technical characteristics fittings may or may not be subject to TR CU 032. In order to assess the requirements of the technical regulation to fittings, it is necessary to consider the following parameters: HS code, fitting type, nominal diameter, maximum working pressure, working temperature, working medium (liquid, gas), working medium group (1 or 2). Based on the assessment, fittings may be subject to Certificate TR CU 032, Declaration TR CU 032 or may be exempted and in this case can receive an Exemption Decision from TR CU 032.
Fittings are subject to TR CU 010. A Declaration TR CU 010 should be obtained to fulfill the requirements of EAC technical regulations.
To issue a Declaration TR CU 010 a Safety Justification should be obtained. Safety Justification is a document containing analysis of possible risks as well as technical information on measures of ensuring safety of the equipment. Safety Justification is a mandatory document required for all declarations and certificates related to Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 010/2011 “On safety of machinery and equipment”.
It takes 20-30 working days to obtain a Certificate TR CU; 10 working days for Declaration TR CU; 5 working days for Exemption Decision.
Depending on the required documents, sample testing and/or production facility audit may be required.
