Decision on implementation of anti-dumping measures and draft technical regulation were approved on the Session of the EEC Collegium
Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board approved Decision on implementation of anti-dumping measures regarding several types of metal products manufactured by Chinese and Ukrainian iron and steel enterprises, approved the draft technical regulation for fire safety and fire fighting equipment, and approved decisions on the goods classification.
The members of EEC Board approved the draft technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) “On requirements for fire protection and fire fighting equipment”. This document establishes safety requirements for fire trucks, stairs, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, foaming agents, individual protection means of respiratory and other fire-fighting equipment and machinery. It is designed to protect the life and health of people, property and the environment from fires. EMERCOM of Russia is responsible for development of this technical regulation. The technical regulations is planned to be approved by the decision of the Vice Prime Ministers of the five EAEU States in one of the next meetings of the EEC Council.
A number of decisions on classification of goods were approved. The decision will come into force 30 calendar days following its official publication and shall be mandatory for all countries of the EAEU
