EAC Certification of Explosion-Proof Products
In order to export Ex-Proof Products to the Customs Union, Certificate of Conformity with Technical Regulation of the Customs Union “On safety of the equipment operating in hazardous environments” (TR CU 012/2011) is required.
This TR CU applies to electrical equipment including Ex components and non-electrical equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Please note that electrical ex-proof equipment is not subjected to TR CU 004/2011 LVD. TR CU 010/2011 Machinery safety, TR CU 020/2011 EMC, TR CU 032/2013 PED and others may be required in addition to TR CU 012/2011.
TR CU requires an Applicant that is a legal entity registered in the territory of the Customs Union. Our company offers the Applicant Service to provide foreign producers with the necessary support.
It takes about 45 days to obtain the certificate but we advise to start the process earlier. Moreover, the site audit may be required. The maximum validity of the certificate is 5 years.
