Advisory Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved technical regulation of the EEU, defining the safety requirements for oil
The draft of the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) "On safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use" was approved at the Advisory Committee meeting on Technical Regulation.
The document defines the requirements for oil produced for circulation on the territory of the EEU, and establishes the rules for oil circulation in the market of the EEU. In particular, according to these rules, each batch of the product must be accompanied by a passport with the following list of information: legal name of the manufacturer, standard oil value, results of laboratory tests, single labeling of products being in circulation at the market of the Customs Union. Russia is the responsible developer of the technical regulations of EEU "On the safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use", other countries of the Union are co-developers.
The members of the Advisory Committee decided to send the draft of the "oil" technical regulations of the EEU to the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The document can be adopted before the end of this year.
